Burglary at Walcot Polish Club

Wiltshire Police have released CCTV footage of a burglary which took place at the Polish Community Centre in the Park South area of Swindon.

Around 6am on Monday 7th May, two unknown offenders broke in to the centre on Walton Close and attempted to steal from a fruit machine by violently smashing their way in to it.  However, they were unsuccessful as there wasn’t any money left in the machine and so left the premises empty-handed.

PC Paul Davis of Wiltshire Police said:

“We like to speak to the two people in the CCTV video in relation to this incident; also I am appealing for anyone who may recognise these two to come forward.
“If you can help in anyway, please call me on 101 quoting crime reference number 54180040501.  Alternatively, you can contact us anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

  1. Please please please buy a map of Swindon. This article should refer to Park South not Walcot (and by the way Park North is in between). Basic geography of the Town should be a must for all.

    1. Hi, we’ve just updated it to reflect the right area. We stated Walcot as it’s mentioned in the police statement.
