The Reggae Garden event which is a Caribbean themed family festival that takes place every year in Old Town Gardens in the bowl has been cancelled this year.
The Reggae Garden has ran for the last seven years and was a very popular event of Swindon’s summer calendar.
A statement released to the press by the Reggae Garden’s organisers said the following:
It’s with deep regret that due to a number of circumstances out of our control we are going to have to cancel The Reggae Garden 2018 at the Old Town Bowl. This is a decision we haven’t taken lightly and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Everyone who has bought tickets will get a full refund via The Ticket Sellers. This would have been our eighth Year running the festival and we would like to thank every one who has supported over the years. We will be taking a break from hosting any events at the Old Town Bowl but will be looking at new opportunities to make use of this beautiful venue in the future.”
This cancellation also follows a line of events that had also been due to take place in Old Town Gardens this year where Swindon & Wiltshire Pride and also the Mela have also been cancelled.
