Wiltshire Police today welcomes ten new special constables who have joined the force after weeks of intensive training during the weekends.
Special constables are unpaid members of the public who give up their spare time to be officers who have full police powers.
These ten officers have now passed their final assessments and will be out in their local communities soon.
Wiltshire Police now have over 300 Special Constables making it one of the largest in the country.
Great to welcome another ten officers into our ever expanding @wiltshirepolice family. Our numbers have tipped over 300 making us one of largest SCs in the region! We wish you all every success pic.twitter.com/qOS1aOoIpx
